Waverform

How these forms handle your data

This policy covers every questionnaire on Waverform (waverform.com): what a form saves when you send it, what it notes when you leave it unsent, which services receive that data, and how you choose.

Version 2, effective October 14, 2026.

Who we are

CodeLaw ("we") runs Waverform (waverform.com, formerly forms.codelaw.pro) for its own projects. Each form names the project it belongs to. Contact: friends@codelaw.pro.

What a form saves

  • When you send a form: your answers; how you filled it in (which questions you saw, answered or changed, from which option to which, and the seconds spent on each); the page you sent it from and the page that linked you to it; and your privacy choice at that moment, with its date and the version of this policy.
  • While your choice allows it: how long the pointer or keyboard focus rested on each option of a question before you chose, as the option's name and the milliseconds. Text you type is never part of this.
  • If you start a form and leave without sending it, and your choice allows it: how far you got, the options you picked and the seconds on each question. Names, email addresses and other text you typed are never sent then.
  • Your privacy choice, kept in your own browser.
  • No analytics service, advertising tag or session recording runs on these pages.

Services that receive your data

  • Vercel (Vercel Inc., United States): hosts waverform.com and receives your IP address and browser details with every request. A Vercel function tells our banner your country and region from your IP address; we do not store them. Another passes what a form sends on to Notion and keeps no copy.
  • Notion (Notion Labs, United States): stores each form's answers and form journeys in a database of our workspace, one database per form. Only our Vercel function sends them; your browser never contacts Notion.
  • Calendly, only when a form offers a call and you book one: what you enter there is collected on Calendly's own site.
  • Google Workspace (our email), only when you write to us.

Why we keep it

  • To reply to you and do what the form is for, as the form says (for example, to set up early access to a product).
  • To learn from form journeys and option dwell which questions and options are unclear, and to improve them.

Cookies and your choices

  • These pages set no cookies. Our own banner asks for your choice; no consent service of another company is involved.
  • In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Quebec, nothing is noted about a form you leave unsent and no option dwell is kept until you choose Accept. Vercel tells where you are from your IP address; when it cannot, you are treated as being in one of these regions.
  • Elsewhere these notes are on by default, the banner says so, and Reject turns them off.
  • A sent form is saved together with your privacy choice at that moment, its date and the version of this policy.
  • Your choice is saved in your browser (local storage) with its date and the version of this policy. You are asked again when this policy gets a new version; a refusal always stays. The Privacy choices link at the bottom of every page changes it at any time.

How long it is kept

  • Answers and form journeys stay in Notion as long as the project's form says, and at most until the project no longer needs them; then we delete them. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
  • Vercel keeps request logs for a short time to run the site.
  • Your privacy choice stays in your browser until you clear it.

Your rights

Vercel and Notion process this data in the United States and other countries. We do not sell personal data. You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of data about you, or object to its use, by writing to friends@codelaw.pro. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

A change to what these forms collect gets a new version of this policy, shown at the top with its date. Your saved choice is then asked again.
